Dr. Gerald Vallee Speaks to Gallipolis Rotary

Gallipolis Rotary welcomed two special guests from the Gallia County General Health District–Melissa Conkle, Director of Nursing and Gallia County Health Commissioner, Dr. Gerald Vallee.  Gallipolis Rotary annually supports the efforts of the county health department with the funding of the liquid Tylenol which is given to children receiving immunizations.  President Deb Rhodes opened the club meeting and Rotarian Matt Willis gave the invocation. Rio Grande Mayor, Matt Easter, addresses Gallipolis Rotary

President Deb Rhodes was back with us again and opened the regular morning meeting of the Gallipolis Rotary Club.  We’ve been having excellent attendance and thank you all for for efforts to turn out for our meetings.  Rotary is always a little bit better when you are there!

President-Elect Bonnie McFarland ran our meeting today for vacationing President Deb Rhodes who was rumored to be in Myrtle Beach.  We had an excellent crowd at the meeting and we were honored to have Evans Smalley as our guest today.  Secretary Chuck Clark was back in town after missing last week.  PE Bonnie welcomed everyone assembled.

Foundation/Membership Seminar–Bonnie announced a sign-up sheet has been created for the upcoming District 6690 2008 Rotary Foundation and Membership Seminar to be held at the Cherry Valley Lodge in Newark, on Saturday,October 18th from 8:30 am - 1:00 pm.  We’ll be taking a carload that day and all interested Rotarians are welcome to ride along.

Local author, Wanda Willis, Speaks to Gallipolis Rotary!

The Gallipolis Rotary Club held its regular morning meeting at the Holzer Clinic Doctors’ Dining Room Tuesday, September 2nd, at 7:15 AM.  President Deb Rhodes gaveled the meeting to order with the ringing of the Rotary Bell.  Guests this morning included Evans Smalley and Wanda Willis.
