Gallia icon, Marianne Campbell, addressed Gallipolis Rotary today informing the assembled Rotarians about the Foundation For Appalachian Ohio. Before her retirement in 2002 and after more than 30 years with Holzer Medical Center, Ms. Campbell was director of community Relations and executive vice president of the Holzer Foundation for Tri-State Health Care in Gallipolis, Ohio. A communications and marketing specialist by profession, Campbell was in broadcast management for 22 years. She was the first woman president of the Ohio Association for Broadcasters. She was honored as the First Woman in Broadcasting by the American Women in Radio and Television (AWRT), served as national president of AWRT and national chair of the AWRT Education Foundation.
