Treasurer’s Report - Shawn Siders gave the Treasurer’s Report  and mentioned some expenses related to our Dictionary project, Group Study Exchange, Bob Evans Farm Festival, and Disaster Relief donations.

Split the Pot - Deb Rhodes collected money for Split the Pot, $7 was in the small pot.  Dave Nadler won the small pot and fined anyone in the club who DID NOT attend a Boy Scout meeting last night.

Thank you, Tammi!

Cleeland also noted that on November 17th in 1913, the Panama Canal was opened, in 1940, the Green Bay Packers took the first NFL football team flight, and 1962 Kennedy dedicated Dulles Airport.  The Thought for the Day was “Thrift is a wonderful virtue in an ancestor.”

United Way is a non-profit organization and all funds raised in Gallia County stay in Gallia County.  An allocations committee meets once a year to determine how money is allocated to the different organizations in our area.  He announced that there will be a Breakfast with Santa at the Holiday Inn on December 5 to raise money for United Way.

President Bonnie adjourned the meeting.
