May Board Meeting
Attendees: Bonnie McFarland, Chuck Clark, Shawn Siders, Kevin Petrie, Sharon Shull, Shirley Doss, Mel Simone, Resty Alonzo, Shana Booker, Deb Rhodes.
President Bonnie called the board meeting to order.
Secretary’s Report - Chuck reported that attendance has been better in April, will have the numbers later today. Chuck will be out of town for the next 3 weeks, we will miss him!
Treasurer’s Report - Shawn reported that we are down $1000 in our checking account due to paying our credit card, which was used to pay our $1000 donation to Polio Plus. He also reported that we have spend $2000 on scholarships, and $2000 have been ear marked for next year. He mentioned that the Special Projects Account had funds in it for Disaster Relief and was holding our proceeds for Relay for Life.
President Bonnie also welcomed our new members, Shana and Sharon for joining the board meeting today.
Spaghetti Dinner - Shirley reported that we had a profit of $700 so far from the dinner. The supplies were $661. Bonnie suggested that we send Alvera flowers for helping and donating all of the cakes, the board agreed.
District Meeting - There will be 6 people going to the District Meeting.
Rotary Brochure - Deb Rhodes is working on this with Debbie Saunders.
Bob Evans FF - Ray McKinnis would like to meet with the group to discuss ideas for the ice cream booth to increase profits and creativity.
Rotary Mile - Bonnie will contact Jim Morrison.
President Bonnie adjourned the meeting.
