Lou Ellen called the meeting to order.

Matt Willis reported that he had a nice time playing golf with the District Governor last week and also visiting the cancer center.  He said that he had to remember the “Four Way Test” many times during the golf game.

Lou Ellen reminded the club that the Foundation Seminar will be in Lancaster this year on October 16th.  If you are interested, please let Lou Ellen know.

The next board meeting will be August 19th at 4 PM at the municipal court.

Also, Margaret reported that she noticed we are not doing as many service projects as a club, and that we need to consider new service projects.

Split the Pot - Jim Morrison let Jodie pick the winner today, which turned out to be James Wellington.  Unfortunately, James only won the small pot.

Fellowship - Jodie reported as a happy buck that Lindsey Miller, one of our Rotary Memorial Scholarship winners won Miss Gallia County at the fair last night.  Lou Ellen reported that she is a new grandma. Also, it was Kevin Petrie’s birthday, so he chose to have the entire club sing to him.  Gordon also reminded us of some words of wisdom, “Don’t allow anything in your life that you don’t want reproduced in your children’s life.”

Program - Our program was given by a red badge member, Shana Booher, this morning.  Shana spoke about her upbringing in Gallia County.  She currently works for Holzer Clinic as a Physician recruiter.  Shana is married and has 3 sons.

Lou Ellen adjourned our meeting.  Have a great fair week, everyone!
